Sales Assistant – School Lead Qualifier
Part Time, Work from home

Role Summary:

We’re seeking a proactive and organized Sales Assistant to help us connect with U.S. schools and qualify interest in upgrading their educational software. Your primary responsibility is straightforward: make outbound calls using provided scripts, ask key qualifying questions, and pass warm leads to our core sales team. You won’t be required to close deals — just open the door.

As a small, fast-growing EdTech startup, you’ll be an integral part of the team from day one. This is a unique opportunity to grow alongside the company, contribute your ideas, and help shape how we engage schools nationwide. You’ll work closely with leadership and have a direct impact on our growth.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Make outbound calls to schools using provided contact lists and scripts
  2. Ask qualifying questions to determine schools’ interest in upgrading or improving their EdTech tools
  3. Accurately log call details, objections, and interest levels in our CRM system
  4. Schedule discovery calls or demos for the founder and sales team
  5. Follow up with interested leads via email or phone
  6. Assist in maintaining lead databases and outreach records

Note: Calls will be made primarily to schools in the United States. Therefore, working hours must accommodate U.S. time zones, typically after 4 PM Israel time (approx. 9 AM ET and onwards).

You Are:

  1. Comfortable and professional on the phone
  2. Confident following scripts and asking questions
  3. Organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in tracking activity
  4. Available for 15–30 hours per week with a flexible schedule within U.S. calling hours
  5. Looking for a part-time, remote role that can balance with other commitments

Bonus Points If You Have:

  1. Proven experience in cold calling or telemarketing
  2. Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce

Basic Requirements:

To perform well in this role, you’ll need:

  1. A quiet, distraction-free environment for making calls
  2. A reliable computer and internet connection
  3. A quality headset for clear audio
  4. Regular access to email throughout the day

Compensation:

  1. Hourly base pay to provide steady income for outreach and lead qualification activities
  2. Commission bonuses for each qualified lead or demo scheduled, and/or a percentage of closed deals you help generate
  3. Additional performance bonuses may be available for exceeding targets
