
Real estate investment and management firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Finance & Accounting Associate to support their finance operations. This is an ideal role for someone with accounting experience who is looking for a flexible, part-time position with room to grow in a dynamic real estate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining general ledger: A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations
- Support monthly financial close process and internal reporting
- Help track rent payments, lease obligations, and property-level cash flows
- Generate owner and investor reports with guidance
- Organize and reconcile expense records, vendor payments, and invoices
- Create and maintain Excel-based financial reports and schedules
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel (formulas, formatting)
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience in real estate, property management, or financial reporting a plus
- CPA not required
- Native level English speaker
20 hours a week - afternoon hours
