Health Ministry reports lowest daily virus diagnoses in over month and a half

Only 29 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Israel in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily number of diagnoses in over a month and a half, the Health Ministry reported Sunday evening.

Since the onset of the pandemic in the country, 16,208 Israelis have contracted the deadly pathogen, while 232 patients have succumbed to COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
