Overview:
A boutique hedge fund and broker-dealer seek a detail-oriented and proactive accounting and operations professional to support both hedge fund operations and a growing SPAC
(Special Purpose Acquisition Company) business line. The role offers broad exposure to fund operations & accounting, treasury management, and transaction execution within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Hedge Fund Operations
- Perform daily trade booking, position reconciliations, and cash reconciliations.
- Daily portfolio pricing
- Monitor and manage margin and FX exposure across portfolios
- Maintain supporting schedules and update internal databases for investor reporting, incentive calculations, and compliance and regulatory filings.
- Execute and approve treasury-related investment wires.
SPAC Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of existing SPAC entities and coordinate upcoming SPAC launches.
- Work directly with the CEO on strategic and operational aspects of SPAC formation and
execution.
- Serve as liaison among external legal counsel, underwriters, auditors, and accountants during SPAC sponsor and vehicle formation, IPO, and ongoing public reporting.
- Coordinate with public relations and valuation firms on transaction-related
deliverables.
- Collaborate with analysts and bankers in evaluating target companies and managing the de-SPAC process.
Requirements:
- Financial Services background - 4-8 years experience
- Advent AxyS, Journal entry accounting in Quickbeeks or Oracle NetSuite
- Strong excel skills
- CPA - a plus
Location- hybrid in Ramat Beit Shemesh
Hours- US hours (2:00- Midnight)
