I have six years’ experience in Mental Health. I have been a QMHP/CS Case Manager since 2014. I have been a advocate for my Clients at crisis centers and helping put them into Mental Health Hospitals. I have built a good rapport with several Psychiatrist in Houston and West Oaks Outpatient Clinic.

Work in post release services. After minor leaves the shelter, we help them locate services to help them acclimate to living in the United States. Some of the work includes working with minors from 5 to 18 from countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. There is traveling involved throughout the United States to help the Sponsor and Minor. this position is mostly Spanish Speaking, reading, and writing.

Work with patients that have severe mental illness but are not deemed to need inpatient care. Conduct in home visits to evaluate families. Provide social skills training to family members, depending on their needs. Assist patients in applying for benefits as well as finding accommodations in supportive housing facilities.
