Hello! We are a Jerusalem-based family spending a sabbatical year in Berkeley, California, and are offering our home in Jerusalem for rent from August 2025 through June 2026. The apartment is a recently renovated, fully furnished three-bedroom flat located in the heart of Katamon, just steps away from a variety of synagogues, the Jerusalem Pool, and the many cafés and restaurants of the German Colony.
The flat features a spacious, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that opens onto a lovely balcony—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. A wide, light-filled corridor connects the common space to the bedrooms. The master bedroom is generously sized and includes its own private balcony overlooking a garden. The other two bedrooms are smaller and well-suited for children or guests; one of them also has a balcony.
There is a full bathroom, as well as a separate toilet for added convenience. A small enclosed balcony serves as a utility space, with additional storage.
The flat is fully equipped and ideal for comfortable family living. The kosher kitchen includes a large refrigerator, oven, stovetop, microwave, small dishwasher, and two sinks. In the service area, you'll find a washer, dryer, and a second freezer. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, ample closet space, and plenty of storage. One of the smaller bedrooms has a twin bed, desk, and shelving, while the other has a bunk bed, dresser, and additional shelves. If you don't need another bedroom, one of the rooms can be easily converted into an office (we have an extra screen and a printer).
For climate control, there are air conditioners in the living area and two of the bedrooms, a fan in the third bedroom, and several convector heaters throughout the flat. The apartment also comes fully stocked with kitchenware (meat, dairy, and Passover sets), linens, books for all ages, toys, and games—making it especially welcoming for families.
Despite its central location on a main road in Katamon, the apartment is situated at the back of the building, offering a quiet and peaceful living environment. Emek Refaim and public transportation are just a two-minute walk away, giving you easy access to all parts of the city.
Rent includes all taxes and utility bills. The flat is ready and waiting to be your home away from home in Jerusalem.
