We are looking for a full-time Social Media News Writer to join our team and help create and publish news content across multiple platforms, focusing on Telegram, X (Twitter), and other social media channels.
The ideal candidate is passionate about current events, with a strong understanding of Middle East and Israel news. You will be responsible for writing short news updates, curating stories, and posting them quickly and accurately for an international audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow and curate news about Israel and the Middle East
• Write and publish short news articles, posts, and updates in English
• Post content on Telegram, X, and other platforms
• Make sure content is accurate, clear, and engaging
• Work with the content and studio team to match our style and tone
• Monitor social media trends and stay on top of breaking news
• Engage with followers and respond to comments when needed
Requirements:
• Experience in writing news content for social media or digital platforms
• Solid understanding of Middle East and Israeli current affairs
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Ability to work fast and independently under tight deadlines
• Familiar with Telegram, X, Facebook, Instagram, and similar platforms
• Flexible availability to post during breaking news
• Basic skills in Canva or simple graphic tools are a plus
Work Environment:
• Remote work, with optional access to the studio in Ramat Yishai
