Controller – Jerusalem

A dynamic and impactful non-profit Israel media advocacy organization is seeking a Controller to join our leadership team. This is a strategic role for a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional ready to help drive financial oversight, compliance, and growth across multiple entities in Israel and the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and local/international financial regulations
Manage audits, annual tax filings, and financial statements
Develop and implement worker-related practices and internal policies
Monitor and maintain corporate best practices
Build, lead, and grow a high-performing finance team
Coordinate financial operations across multiple entities in Israel and the U.S.
Collaborate with senior leadership and directly report to the CFO
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance
Experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors
Strong understanding of GAAP, audits, and compliance
Experience with annual tax filings (Israel and U.S. a plus)
Familiarity with HR-related financial practices and internal policy implementation
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Strong organizational and communication skills
Fluent in English; Hebrew is a strong advantage
