Israel saw its highest daily tally of new coronavirus cases since the start of the outbreak, health officials said on Tuesday.
The Health Ministry said 2,180 people had tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, surpassing the previous record of 2,100 cases reported on July 28. With 30,853 tests conducted, the infection rate now stands at 7%.
