The Hadassah Offices in Israel (HOI) serve as the liaison office for Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America (HWZOA) in Israel, representing HWZOA in Israel and providing oversight, coordination and fundraising support for Hadassah-owned entities in Israel, including Hadassah Medical Organization, Meir Shfeya Youth Village and Hadassah Neurim Youth Village. In addition, HOI is responsible for oversight of issues related to lands and properties owned by HWZOA in Israel and ensures the ongoing integrity of all such properties.
Visits and Events Associate
The Visits and Events Associate is responsible for coordinating the entire scope of visits and events to Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) campuses, including visits to the Chagall Windows and the Hadassah Herzstein Heritage Center. This position reports to the Visits and Events Unit Manager and is based at Hadassah Hospital, Ein Kerem.
Primary responsibilities include
• Planning and coordinating visits and events for donors, delegations, VIPs, and tourists across both Hadassah hospitals campuses (Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus).
• Serving as primary liaison between hospital departments, HOI team members, and HWZOA colleagues abroad to ensure smooth preparation, coordination, and follow-up of visits.
• Collaborating closely with the development team and hospital medical/logistical staff to tailor each visit to the visitors’ interests, ensuring a meaningful and memorable experience.
• Hosting, guiding, and accompanying visitors at both hospital campuses, including providing Hebrew and English-language tours and presentations.
• Conducting prospect research related to visiting delegations and individuals and collaborating with development colleagues abroad for follow-up and engagement strategies.
• Supporting the marketing, promotion, and visitor experience efforts related to the Hadassah Herzstein Heritage Center and the Chagall Windows.
• Assisting with logistical and operational aspects of high-profile events and ceremonies organized by HOI.
Requirements
• Full professional fluency in English and Hebrew (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
• Proven experience coordinating visits, delegations, or events in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills; ability to engage with senior leadership, medical staff, donors, and diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Guiding experience (certified tour guide or informal guiding experience) is a strong advantage.
• Technological proficiency: Microsoft Office, Monday.com, CRM systems, and other planning tools.
Training and onboarding will be provided. The position is based primarily at Hadassah Ein Kerem campus, with regular travel to Hadassah Mount Scopus as needed. Occasional flexibility for early morning, evening, or/and Fridays may be required.
