Marketing Manager Job Description
We are looking for a talented marketing manager to work for our fast-paced non-profit!
Jewish Year Abroad (https://www.jewishyearabroad.org/) is looking for a creative, talented, and passionate marketing manager in Jerusalem who is a strong copywriter, has an eye for branding and design, and has experience with social media who can work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Live in Jerusalem
- Work 9-5, in Jerusalem office, Sunday-Thursday
- 3+ Years experience in Digital Marketing
- Proven experience with Social Media (Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook);
- Proven experience with branding, content creation, and strategic planning
- Experience with Canva, Email Marketing Systems such as Mailchimp, and Wix
- Creative, strong eye for content and design
- Organized, and capable of managing multiple campaigns
- Strategic, takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment
About Jewish Year Abroad
Jewish Year Abroad is a non-profit organization based in Israel that gives students who are studying in Israel the experience of a lifetime. JYA operates multiple programs; Thrive Study Abroad (thrivestudyabroad.org), the Nitzavim Fellowship (nitzavim.org), and Rimon Jerusalem (rimonjerusalem.org).
Thrive Study Abroad offers Jewish students at Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University Campuses an immersive and inspirational Israel experience. Students get to explore Israel, learn about the politics, tech scene, and conflicts, and dive deeper into important Jewish topics. Study abroad students return to their home universities educated and empowered to make an impact, thus reducing anti-semitism and anti-Israel sentiment on campus.
The Nitzavim Fellowship is the only program to inspire gap-year students to become leaders for Israel and the Jewish people in college before they arrive on campus. Students are inspired to effect change through peer-to-peer engagement via innovative projects and other means. Nitzavim is uniquely positioned to have an incredible impact that no organization or individual can do alone, because we have a tight-knit community that is engaged and activated, inspired to make a difference together across campuses.
Rimon Jerusalem offers a full degree at the Hebrew University for international students, in English.
About You
You’re a creative, talented, and passionate marketer with experience in strategic marketing, content writing, email marketing, social media, website design, PR, branding and influencer marketing, who can work in a fast-paced environment. We’re seeking someone who is innovative, and creative, and can create and implement multiple strategic marketing campaigns across various channels. Must be flexible and capable of managing multiple tasks, and excited and capable of working for a fast-paced, fast-growing nonprofit that makes a huge impact in the lives of college students in Israel and abroad.
What You’ll Do
You will work with the marketing team to push all of our brands forward strategically. You will manage our weekly content output, including social media campaigns, email campaigns, print marketing, branding and design, fundraising content, and any other digital marketing needs. You will also be involved in event planning and coordination.
