Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced, self-motivated Level 2 Bookkeeper to cover a temporary maternity leave for 3–5 months. The role offers flexible scheduling and can be structured as part-time employment or freelance (invoice). Ideal for a professional who is deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and can ramp up quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in and prepare monthly payroll for 200+ employees.
- Expense reporting and tracking.
- Prepare monthly reports and statements.
- Bank monitoring and financial transactions.
- Accounts receivable / accounts payable.
- Ensure accurate handover and documentation at both the start and end of the coverage period.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience (Israel).
- Israeli payroll accounting experience.
- Fluent Hebrew (required). English proficiency – advantage but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, חשבשבת, עוקץ.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; consistent on deadlines; team player.
- Part-time (approx. 20–35 hours/week) with flexible hours (can be distributed across 3–5 days/week).
- Freelance/contract option available.
